GROWTH-ENHANCING MOVE: Canton Chamber relocating headquarters

The Canton Chamber of Commerce office at 45525 Hanford Road will be up for sale soon.

A for sale sign will be visible in front of the longtime headquarters for the Canton Chamber of Commerce in the coming weeks — a sign that the catalyst for township business growth is on the move.

Chamber leadership announced earlier this week that it will put its current home located at 45525 Hanford Road on the market.

The structure is 2,482 square feet and sits on 0.75 acres, according to LoopNet.com.

“After careful consideration and strategic planning, the Board of Directors has made the decision to put our current office building on the market for sale,” the Chamber revealed in an email to its members. “This move is driven by our unwavering dedication to enhance our services and support for our valued members and the broader community we serve.

Decision ‘not made lightly’

“Our current location has been our home for many years, so the decision to sell the building was not made lightly. However, we firmly believe it will enable us to better allocate our resources and fulfill our mission more effectively. This move will empower us to explore new avenues of growth, provide enhanced member benefits, and implement programs that cater to the evolving needs of businesses and organizations in our area.”

The letter emphasized the changing location will not alter the organization’s tireless efforts to fostering a vibrant business community.

“Our commitment to fostering a vibrant business community remains steadfast and our utmost focus,” it ensured.

Updates coming

“We will keep you updated on the progress of the sale and the transition to a new location. Rest assured that we will make every effort to minimize any disruptions during this period, ensuring that our services remain accessible and efficient.”

The email was signed by Chamber of Commerce President Thomas Paden and Chair of the Board Devon Smith.

SocialHouseNews.com will report on news regarding the Chamber of Commerce’s new location once details become available.
